S-Series Valve with Weld-On Steam Jacket
We recently engineered, designed and manufactured 6″ CL600 RF “S” Series ball valve equipped with a weld-on steam jacket designed specifically for a powder handling service at a chemical plant. The finished valve included an automation package that will cycle this metal seated ball valve 5 times a day.
During the process, the polymer or resin is in a powder form and will flow through this valve. The head jacket is designed to help control how quickly the powder cools.
